Senior Appreciation 2010

As this semester begins to come to an end Panhellenic Council would like to thank all of the wonderful Seniors for their dedication to their organizations over the past few years! Chapter Sisterhood Chairs were given the opportunity to nominate an outstanding senior from their chapter and it has been so great to see how many outstanding seniors Panhellenic Council has!

4-H: Carly Rakes

An outstanding senior of the 4-H House, it is going to be Carly Rakes. This girl has held many offices throughout her time spent at 4-H House. She participates in a variety of campus activities, but still manages to put time in for 4-H House.

Alpha Chi Omega: Eva Vanoer

We would like to nominate Eva Vanoer. She served all 4 years on our CRS board, and was VP CRS on exec.  She completely modified and modernized our bylaws, and brought an unparalleled level of attention to our standards board. She took on so many additional responsibilities, and was such a model leader in our house. She was very involved in recruitment this past year, being one of the CRIC chairs, and helped to determine the best recruitment process we could have. She is always in contact with our president to see if she needs help with anything and is often asked for suggestions when our sisters face any difficult situations. She is a very important part of our chapter.

Alpha Delta Pi: Caroline Trumpy

We will be selecting Miss Caroline Trumpy as our Outstanding Senior. Caroline has always been very involved in chapter operations as both an active member and as an Executive Officer. Even as a senior she has been instrumental to the betterment of our chapter by voicing her opinions in a constructive way and by acting as a representative of her class. She is always respectful and willing to help wherever she can. We all appreciate Caroline's dedication to ADPi and would like to thank her for everything she has done for our chapter.

Alpha Epsilon Pi: Ali Mascort

The nomination for Alpha Epsilon Phi is Ali Mascort. She has continually shown outstanding dedication to our chapter. Her hand is always the first one up when members are asked to volunteer. Ali will do great things when she graduates, and all of us here only hope for the best for her!

Alpha Gamma Delta: Lesley Feyerherm

We would like to recognize Lesley Feyerherm of Alpha Gamma Delta as an outstanding senior member. Lesley has held various executive positions within our chapter, including VP Recruitment and President and has dedicated herself completely to Alpha Gamma Delta in her time here. In fact, she is going to continue her passion and service to AGD once she graduates as she was selected out of hundreds of Alpha Gams nationally to be a Leadership Consultant for our nationals. Lesley always worked her hardest to make sure our chapter could be the best it could be and is definitely deserving of a senior spotlight.

Alpha Omicron Pi: Emily Stonecipher

The senior from AOII that we are nominating is Emily Stonecipher. As a senior, she has organized our chapter's entire philanthropy, Run for the Roses. Her help and dedication has made this year’s Run for the Roses a great success.

Alpha Xi Delta: Cristina Rebellon

Cristina is a fabulous senior. She spreads her contagious optimism to all of her sisters. She is an incredibly involved senior member, and she is always there to help out a fellow sister.

Gamma Phi Beta: Jenn Kudirka

She was President of Gamma Phi Beta and worked her way up to risk manager of PHC. She is always supporting Gamma Phi Beta in everything she does. Thanks Jenn!

Kappa Alpha Theta: Lauren Lewis

Our nominated senior is Lauren Lewis. Lauren has been very involved in our chapter, Kappa Alpha Theta, throughout her time here at Illinois as well as the Panhellenic Council. She dedicated a lot of time to serve the Greek community by serving as Vice President of Public Relations for each organization. She has also continued to be involved in many activities as a senior here at Theta. Next year, Lauren will serve as a Kappa Alpha Theta Educational Leadership Consultant, where she will be a role model for the sorority nationwide. Being an Educational Leadership Consultant is an extremely honorable achievement within Kappa Alpha Theta and this year only 6 graduating seniors were chosen from all of the chapters nationwide.

Pi Beta Phi: Kristin Gernant

We will be nominating Kristin Gernant for the outstanding senior award. She is an Animal Science major planning on going to medical school. She was on the 2008 Executive Board, serving as Vice President of Member Development where she made significant contributions in the areas of academic and wellness. She is currently President of Atius-Sachem and the Co Executive Director of  Up Til' Dawn.

Sigma Alpha: Krista Lottinville

Sigma Alpha's outstanding senior is Krista Lottinville.  Krista has always done her best to be there for all of our sister's.  She makes sure she is available for questions, suggestions, and advice.  Of all of our senior's Krista is still the most active in volunteering and philanthropy and is definitely one of our most Outstanding Seniors.

Sigma Kappa: Brooke Kennedy

We would like to nominate Brooke Kennedy as the senior to be recognized from Sigma Kappa. She has given so much to not only our chapter, but also to the Greek System and campus as a whole.  She was our 2008 Chapter President, the 2009 PHC VP of Development, and has been chosen by our National Council to be a 2010-2011 Sigma Kappa Field Consultant.
