Dear Fellow Panhellenic Women, Family, Friends, Advisors, Faculty and Staff and Visitors:
Thank-you for visiting the University of Illinois’ Panhellenic Council website. I hope that this website will be a valuable resource for current members, future members, parents, staff, and alumnae. The Panhellenic Council is a unique group of women on campus who not only strive for excellence, but form an amazing community of almost 3,500 members. The Panhellenic Council is comprised of 25 organizations that enrich the lives of collegiate women on a daily basis through service, scholarship, friendship, and leadership.
My name is Erin Schandelmeier, and I serve as the Panhellenic Council President. I am responsible for the continuous growth and successful future of this incredible community. As President, I not only work closely with Panhellenic members, but also with the other three Greek Councils, the University, and the campus community at large. It is an honor to serve this community and represent such phenomenal women.
Giving back to the community is an extremely dominant pillar of being a Greek student on campus. The Panhellenic Council sponsors monthly drives such as collecting tampons to donate to A Women's Fund and The Center for Women in Transition, writing letters to Marines, collecting books for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and donating presents for A Women’s Fund Holiday Party. Panhellenic members are dedicated to helping not only the Champaign-Urbana community, but also other organizations across the county, participating in fundraisers and service projects for their national philanthropies.
Panhellenic women strive for success and excellence in education, as evident by the fact the Panhellenic Council G.P.A. continues to be higher than the All- Student G.P.A. and the All Women's G.P.A. You can view the grade reports in the "About Us" section of this website.
Panhellenic women not only pride themselves on academics and service, but also on creating friendships and bonds that will live on years beyond graduation day.
If you have any questions regarding the Panhellenic Community or want to learn more about us, please contact any officer. Officer contact information is listed under the "About Us" section.
Enjoy our website!
Thank you,
Erin Schandelmeier

| The Panhellenic Creed |
We, the undergraduate members of women's fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.
We, as Fraternity Women stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live. |
