Scholarship

Month of the Scholar 2008!!!!!

Week Four: STEPHANIE PASQUESI, Alpha Omega Epsilon

Stephanie is a senior in Mechanical Engineering.  She has held numerous scholarship positions in Alpha Omega Epsilon and is currently the chapter president.  She is a member of Tau Beta Pi, the most prestigious honors society of which an engineer can be a member, and Pi Tau Sigma, an honorary society for mechanical engineering students.  She has also held officer positions in both of these honor societies and is still able to keep her GPA above a 3.5.

Week Three: CARLY HERST, Sigma Delta Tau

Carly is a third year student with second semester senior standing, majoring in accounting and minoring in Spanish.  She is completing her CPA a year early.  Even with her challenging curriculum and being an active officer in our chapter, she still manages to earn nearly a 4.0.  She was a great recruitment chair and is looked up to by other members of the chapter.  Not only is she involved within the sorority, but she is also in a business fraternity and a mentor in the business buddy program.

Week Two: ASHLEY NYSTROM, Delta Delta Delta

Ashley declared an accounting major this year and is doing very well despite the difficulty of her coursework!  In preparation for 5 exams in one week, Ashley spent over 75 hours studying at the library and got an average of three hours of sleep per night!  She was able to stay focused and all of her hard work and determination paid off after she did an amazing job on all of her exams!

Week One: MEGAN MOSS, 4-H

Although Megan is only a junior, she will graduate this year with a degree in Accounting.  She works incredibly hard at her studies, taking an average of 20 credit hours per semester.  Even though she has so many credit hours, she still maintains very nearly a 4.0 GPA.  While doing all of this, she is also the treasurer for 4-H.  She is incredibly dedicated and motivated and succeeds in everything to which she sets her mind.
